Welcome to the Claymation Takeover!!
Hi. We’re the WVHS's shelter staff. We’re not artists.
We can whip up a pretty solid event flyer and add Comic Sans to a birthday post ironically (or not). But sculpting charming clay figures by hand? Yeah, no. Our collective experience with actual clay maxes out at one regrettable pottery class and a haunted elementary school art project.
So… we asked AI for help. And we may have gotten a little carried away.
But Wait..This Is Adorable!
What started as “let’s test one claymation pet pic” quickly became “WHAT IF… every adoptable pet looked like they lived in a stop-motion movie directed by Wes Anderson’s more whimsical cousin?”
And to our surprise, it kind of… works? The textures! The expressions! The tiny clay toe beans!
We’ve officially gone full Claymation Takeover.

Don’t Worry —
These Pets Are Real
Yes, the main photo on each profile is now a claymation-style portrait. But behind that adorable AI-crafted face is a very real, very adoptable dog, cat, or companion waiting for their forever home.
Click through and you’ll find:
-
Their real photos (yes, they exist in 3D space)
-
Their bio and personality details
-
A heartfelt pitch from a pet who may or may not snore, love snacks, and be emotionally prepared to steal your couch
Why Did We Do This?
Because attention spans are short. Algorithms are weird. And our pets are too amazing to be ignored.
...Lets be honest you made it this far down the page, so something worked...
If this makes even one person pause, smile, and say “WAIT, who’s this clay hero?” — we’ve done our job.
Besides, these pets deserve to look like handcrafted movie stars. We just outsourced the hands.
