Shift Description
Waiting for a forever home can be lonely—your time and attention can make all the difference. Volunteers in this role will provide enrichment to our adoptable cats and kittens through toys, treats, interactive play, gentle pets, or quiet snuggle time in our cat colony rooms. Whether you're engaging a curious kitten or offering calm comfort to a shy senior, your visit brings joy, stimulation, and healing.

We’re excited to have you join us in supporting the animals at West Valley Humane Society! To ensure the best experience for both our volunteers and staff, please review the following shift booking policy: Open Sign-Up: Volunteers may sign up for available shifts at any time in advance or up until the start of the shift. Commitment Matters: Please only sign up for shifts you are confident you can attend. Avoid booking shifts if you are unsure of your availability, so we can plan staffing and support effectively. No-Show Policy: Consistent no-shows may result in a temporary or permanent restriction on your ability to sign up for future shifts. We rely on your commitment to ensure proper care for our animals. Qualified Roles Only: Please only sign up for shifts you are currently trained and qualified for.
