  • Call to action: Urge your city or county to approve the full FY2026 funding request or expand their support.

Example Message

As a long-time resident and proud pet parent thanks to WVHS, I strongly support their FY2026 funding request. Their services are critical to our safety and quality of life—handling everything from stray animals to pet adoptions and emergency care. I’ve seen firsthand how much they give to this community, and I hope our city/county continues to stand behind them.
